Next to our reindeer farm, and not far from our husky kennel, lies our atmospheric Wilderness Restaurant.
Listen to the distant howling of huskies and enjoy a dinner filled with homemade Lappish delicacies. Pure ingredients, the scent of reindeer roasting by the fire, warm candlelight, and welcoming hosts create a truly memorable dining experience.
Immerse yourself in the world of local flavours and traditions with this special chef’s dinner. Experience the Wilderness Centre at night and enjoy a delicious Lappish buffet-style dinner in our restaurant.
This fully guided activity starts at the Star Arctic Hotel and includes transfers to our private Wilderness Centre. Enjoy dishes cooked over an open fire and discover the authentic taste of Lapland with local ingredients such as wild berries and reindeer.
The dinner schedule is relaxed, giving you time to step outside and admire the northern lights if they appear. Our host will keep you informed about aurora activity and share stories about local Lappish lifestyle and traditions.

- Wilderness Dinner is a buffet featuring local fish, meat, and some vegetarian options. Unfortunately, it may not be suitable for guests with multiple allergies or specific dietary restrictions. Please inform us your allergies and special diets upon booking, thank you.
- Wilderness Restaurant also has a bar to order drinks from to be enjoyed with the dinner.
Terms & Conditions
- Please be at Star Arctic Hotel Reception 10-15 minutes before the activity starts.
- All weekly excursions must be booked at least 24 hours in advance before the starting time.
- All excursions are non-refundable and non-changeable inside 7 days before the starting time.
- We will charge a cancellation fee of 100% if the booking is cancelled 7 days or less before the event.
- Star Arctic Activities reserves the right to make changes to the excursions without prior notice and the right to stop the excursions due to any other conditions cause by force majeure.
- The Northern Lights are a natural phenomenon and can be unpredictable. Our evening safaris offer a chance to witness them, but we cannot guarantee their appearance.
